La fenêtre is French for window, a metaphor I feel fits my photographic style. I love the simple beauty of window light, the way it frames a subject's face, casting soft shadows. My camera truly is a window into another world, and has taught me to look at most everything in a different way. As the old saying goes, I absolutely do believe the eyes are the window to the soul.

With a creative flair and an eye for detail, I aim to capture images that are candid and uniquely personal. Using available light and a fast lens, I am able to quietly record life as it unfolds. My documentary style "Day in the Life" sessions are authentic and unscripted, resulting in pictures that are real and sometimes raw. Each portrait collection tells a visual story as unique as the people I am photographing.

Many of my pictures are captured on high-speed black and white film, then are developed by hand and printed on archival fine art paper. These images have a timeless, ethereal quality with remarkable depth. Digital pictures are expertly printed on European rag paper, bringing out the luminous tones and rich textures that comprise my signature style.
